In Xenia Ruiz novel “Choose Me” the main character Eva decides after her marriage and a failed relationship that she will rededicate her life to the ministry and practice a life of celibacy. Then there is Adam, whom until recently was a God-fearing individual. After several events his life including his bout with cancer; he starts to second guess his relationship with the God. Eva and Adam paths crosses and they are faced with some tough life decisions that will affect them both.

This novel exam many issues that is affecting our society today. Ms. Ruiz does an excellent job in presenting these issues and the consequences of our actions. I enjoyed reading this novel however the novel was slow in the beginning which may be a turn off for some readers. But once the readers get though some details, I think they will enjoy and appreciate the underlining lessons Ms. Ruiz presents.
