Strictly Platonic

Author: Dexter Harper
Reviewer: Nikia Rollins

Reading this book, the author tried to convey different relationships and the lessons that should be learned from them. However, the way in which each story was told confused me about the characters and what the stories were about. There was no real depth to the stories, just facts stated about the characters, the issue wasn't really explored or resolved. Another problem was that the author didn't give you an idea of the span of time over which these events were occurring. You were left to assume how much time had passed. Overall, this book didn't really hold my attention and I couldn't connect with what this author was trying to portray.
